Serenity Care Wet Wash Gloves

Step 1: Prepare the Glove

• Peel back the clear plastic to fully expose the opening of the glove.
• To make the glove more comfortable and effective, you can warm it by either microwaving it for 40 seconds at 700 W or 20 seconds at 1100 W.

Step 2: Upper Body Cleaning

• Assist the person in undressing and ensure their lower body remains covered by a sheet to maintain warmth and their privacy.
• Begin the washing process from the top of their body, starting with the face. Use a new glove for each body part to maintain hygiene.

Step 3: Lower Body Cleaning

• Move the sheet onto the upper body to maintain comfort and warmth, and to begin cleaning the lower part of the body.
• Depending on preference, you and the person you care for can choose to either start by washing the abdomen and intimate areas, or with both legs.

Step 4: Back Cleaning

• Carefully turn or roll the person you care for onto their side. Or if preferred and mobility allows, they can stand up. 
• Use a fresh and warmed glove to clean the patient's back and then buttocks.
  
  

Please note that there is no need to rinse or dry the skin during this process.
